Who This Evaluation Is For

This evaluation is appropriate for:

  • Children showing signs of inattention, impulsivity, or difficulty with structure

  • Adolescents struggling with organization, social interaction, or emotional regulation

  • Adults who have long suspected they may be neurodivergent but never received a formal diagnosis

  • Parents, physicians, or therapists seeking clarity about possible ADHD or autism traits

  • Individuals facing academic or occupational struggles that may be rooted in executive functioning differences

Common Reasons for Referral
  • Difficulty with focus, follow-through, or impulsivity

  • Social communication challenges or rigid behavior patterns

  • Emotional dysregulation or sensory sensitivities

  • Academic underperformance despite intelligence

  • Repeated misdiagnoses or unclear treatment responses

  • Need for school-based accommodations or workplace support

What the Evaluation Involves

Each neurodevelopmental evaluation includes:

  • A detailed clinical interview with the client and (for children) their caregiver

  • Standardized behavior rating scales completed by multiple informants

  • Cognitive and executive functioning tasks (e.g., working memory, processing speed)

  • Measures of social-emotional development and adaptive functioning

  • Developmental history and review of academic or medical records when applicable

Assessments are carefully selected to fit the individual’s age, referral question, and lived experience.

What You Receive

After testing is complete, we provide:

  • A written report that explains all findings in accessible language

  • Diagnostic impressions when supported by data and clinical judgment

  • Clear, tailored recommendations for home, school, or work settings

  • A feedback session to review results, answer questions, and discuss next steps

  • When needed, coordination with referring providers or schools

Reports can be used to inform treatment, pursue accommodations, or guide further support.

Understanding how the brain develops, processes, and responds to the world can bring meaningful clarity to lifelong patterns. A neurodevelopmental evaluation explores attention, executive functioning, behavioral regulation, and social communication (domains often impacted by conditions such as ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder). Whether concerns are new or long-standing, this type of assessment can illuminate underlying challenges and provide a foundation for support.
